When you hear the words, “God’s glory,” what do you think of? For many believers, it’s difficult to put into words. His greatness, His holiness, His power—are but a few of the ways to describe the awe and wonder, reverence and devotion we feel for our God.
Experiencing and witnessing God’s glory not only amazes us, but it also inspires us and influences our growth as Christians. God’s glory motivates us to:
- Offer heartfelt praise and adoration;
- Allow ourselves to be transformed to reflect His character more fully;
- Live in a manner worthy of our calling to pursue His righteousness;
- Endure hardships with the hope of future glory, knowing that our struggles are temporary compared to the eternity of God’s glory; and
- Strengthen our communities, church families, and overall mission to share the Gospel.
